Blessing Nwodo – Zimbabwe
My name is Blessing, sweet 17 with Big Dreams.
I’m a music minister who loves heartfelt worship and good music. I am very fond of horse riding, dancing and simply enjoying the awesome life God has given me. God is my motivation. God is my guide. God is my all. In life, I believe challenges are something we all require in order to keep progressing. We all go through challenges, whether it be; physically, emotionally or spiritually. Sickle Cell Anaemia is one of the very many challenges that people of African/Caribbean Origin tackle on a daily basis, especially in the UK. This causes them to feel tired often, have a lack of energy and even breathlessness. But most of all it causes severe pain in their bodies. In which they have to be in and out of hospital constantly for medication and regular check-ups. I desire to bring change by doing the following 3 things: Raise Awareness, Educate communities, and Create Opportunities for them and their families. This will help fulfill The Vision: A World Free of Sickle Cell induced childhood stroke. All Things are possible to those who believe, and I – Blessing, Believe.
